WJEC A Level Chemistry Overview

A Level Chemistry is structured into five comprehensive units: two AS units taken in Year 12 and three A2 units in Year 13, including a hands-on practical unit. Students will have the opportunity to be assessed during the summer period annually, up until the specification is retired.

The overall grades for the GCE AS qualification will be recorded as a grade on a scale A to E. The overall grades for the GCE A level qualification will be recorded as a grade on a scale A* to E.
